About Visiting
What time are Sunday services?
We gather every Sunday at 9:15 and 11:00 AM. Each service lasts about an hour and includes modern worship, Bible teaching from Pastor Stephen Saxton, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all ages.
Where is Islands Christian Church located?
We’re located on Whitemarsh Island in beautiful Savannah, Georgia, right on the main road to the beach. Our building is easy to find, with plenty of parking available when you arrive.
What should I wear?
Come as you are! You’ll see everything from shorts and flip-flops to jeans and casual dresses. We’re a coastal church that values authenticity over appearance.
What kind of music do you play?
Our modern worship band leads songs that lift up Jesus and invite everyone to participate. Expect a relaxed, contemporary style centered on gratitude and praise.
How long is the service?
Each service lasts about 60 minutes. We begin with worship, followed by a practical, Bible-based message designed to help you live out your faith every day.

What to Expect
What happens during a Sunday service?
You’ll experience uplifting music, a relevant message from the Bible, and a friendly environment where you can connect with others. We also offer free coffee in the lobby and time to chat before and after each service.
Will I be asked to give money or sign up for anything?
No pressure at all! We don’t expect guests to give—our service is our gift to you. Giving and serving are opportunities for those who call Islands home to support what God is doing in and through our church.
Do I need to be a member to attend?
Not at all. Everyone is welcome to join us—whether you’re new to church, returning after time away, or exploring faith for the first time. You belong here.
